Launch Day!

Blowing Rock Shuttle Hopper park and ride passenger van

The Blowing Rock Shuttle Hopper Officially Launches Next Friday!

If you’ve ever spent forty minutes circling Main Street looking for a parking spot, we have the news you’ve been waiting for.

We are thrilled to announce that the Blowing Rock Shuttle Hopper is officially hitting the road next Friday! Our mission is simple: to make visiting our beautiful downtown as relaxing as a Blue Ridge sunset. No more traffic jams, no more fighting for a parking spot, and no more long walks from the outskirts of town just to get a cup of coffee. Blowing Rock Shuttle Hopper offers a simple park and ride shuttle solution for our town.

Why Hop on the Shuttle?

Blowing Rock is one of the most beautiful destinations in the High Country, but its popularity means that parking can be a challenge, especially on weekends and during peak season. The Shuttle Hopper is a local park-and-ride solution designed to keep our town accessible, eco-friendly, and stress-free.

Whether you’re a local heading to the park or a visitor staying in Boone looking for an easy way to spend the day in Blowing Rock, we’ve got you covered.

What You Need to Know for Launch Day:

  • Official Launch Date: Next Friday, May 22!

  • Operating Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

  • The Route: Our shuttle circles the most popular spots in Blowing Rock, including Speckled Trout, The Social on Main, 1888 Museum, the American Legion, BRAHM, and Sunset Drive.

  • How it Works: Just look for the Shuttle Hopper logo at our designated stops. Purchase tickets at the stop, then hop on, enjoy the ride, and hop off whenever you're ready!
